The laptop is great. Very powerful machine. I do a lot of heavy programming and I’m on the road a lot. This laptop give me the power and the mobility I need to get my work done. Just one thing that almost caused me to not buy this one, the descriptions on this product says its got a Apple a4 processor in it… It’s clearly a typo because it has a core I7 as it should. A Amazon rep was very helpful and cleared that up for me. Great service on Amazon s part.

I use this laptop as a daily-driver. The battery life is great, the speed is everything ANYONE needs and the graphics can even play some older games at max spec (and c’mon; who doesn’t play a little Civ5 while you’re waiting for a drive to format, or a backup..).My ONLY two complaints are:
1.) I have the extended life battery, and the weight of the thing kills me. It’s almost ELEVEN (11) lbs. That kills my back/shoulder when I’m commuting.
2.) There is only 1 USB-3 port on the laptop. The dock supplies three of them, but with most top-end externals and thumbdrives being USB3, it’d be nice to have.

I’m going to get a surface book for “walking around”, and leave this one on the dock at work as a semi-permanent desktop machine.

Its my Company provided laptop and no member in my team is happy with this device. Its all looks good on paper but number of problem with device. It keep taking trips to our IT department 3-4 time a year.
