3M™ Particulate Respirator 8271, P95 is a disposable particulate respirator that helps provide reliable respiratory protection of at least 95 percent filtration efficiency against certain oil and non-oil based particles. Soft inner material provides added comfort while the cup shape design helps make the respirator feel spacious and durable. An adjustable M-noseclip is designed to help enhance user comfort and increase wearability. The respirator incorporates 3M’s proprietary technology with advanced electrostatically charged microfiber filter media designed for ease of breathing. Braided headbands with two-strap design and dual point attachment helps provide a comfortable and secure seal. Recommended applications include grinding, sanding, sweeping, bagging, and other dusty/oily operations. 3M Reusable Dual Cartridge Respirators are designed and constructed for exceptional performance and comfort that lasts. The face-pieces are designed to provide outstanding comfort and fit. The sweptback cartridges improve visibility and the face-pieces can be easily disassembled for cleaning. They are NIOSH approved.

NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. 3M recommended for relief against of organic vapours and ozone protection up to 10 times OSHA PEL. Not NIOSH certified for use against ozone. Use with 3M Respirators 5000 Series or 3M Cartridge 6000 Series with 3M Adapter 502, 3M Facepieces 6000 Series or 3M Facepieces 7000 Series with bayonet filter holders. When properly fitted, use in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA for concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with full facepieces. Full facepieces must be quantitatively fit tested to claim assigned protection factor above 10 in negative pressure mode.Refer to specific provincial regulation for appropriate assigned protection factors for full face respirators. Also offers nuisance level relief from organic vapours that are below the PEL. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding OSHA PEL or other applicable government occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower. The 3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator 6500 Series helps provide workers with respiratory protection in harsh, dirty work environments against airborne contaminants when used with approved 3M cartridges and filters. This facepiece combines comfort, durability, and stability with a firm, lightly textured silicone faceseal and strong body construction. The proprietary quick latch design offers an easy, one-hand touch drop-down mechanism for putting the facepiece on and taking it off while moving in and out of contaminated areas. The quick latch also eliminates the need to remove a hardhat or faceshield when lowering or raising the respirator. When properly fitted and used with approved 3M cartridges and filters, this respirator helps provide respiratory protection in workplaces at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL). While being the lightest silicone 3M half facepiece, it is still rugged enough to withstand long hours and extreme conditions. The resilient silicone faceseal offers an extended facepiece life, even keeping its shape in high-heat environments.
